Overview

The TIME Pyramid provides an excellent roadmap to strengthen and internalize your innovative management system. It typically starts with an outside assessment of the organization’s present innovative system.

Typically two or more of the following assessment tools would be used to define an organization's present innovative culture and identify areas of opportunity:

  • Change history survey
  • Maturity grid analysis
  • Improvement needs analysis
  • Opinion surveys
  • Customer focus groups
  • Executive interviews
  • Is/Should be priority analysis
  • Individual management skills maturity analysis
  • Comparison to ISO innovation standards
  • Maturity grid analysis
  • Employee focus groups
  • Innovation projection models
  • Comparison to ISO’s standard 65002 and 65004.
Benefits
  • Once the student feels comfortable using these tools and conducting executive interviews and focus groups at all levels they will be divided up into teams. The teams will be taught how to develop future visions of the Innovative Management System. They will then be taught how to develop a strategic plan that is designed to meet the previously defined Future Innovative Management System. Particular emphasis is placed upon management’s responsibility, visibility, and actions related to the innovation improvement project.
Audience
  • The Executive Team plus the members of the Innovative Improvement Team.
